Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to speak to Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on the weekday. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the military base of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya zone, a town approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Intense Situation in the Area

Geospatial data from a national effort showed that Russian forces had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and its environs, though much of it remained beyond firm control by either side. The conditions are severe, with updates indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and building up positions in certain areas.

Russian forces are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Ukrainian Long-Range Assaults Deep Inside the Federation

Regional authorities reported an explosion at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the reason for the blast was unconfirmed.
